I collect your data under the legitimate interest of providing you with a cake or other goods, providing you a quotation, or responding to any questions you may have related to my services.

b. Automatically, as you navigate through my website. Anonymised information such as usage details and IP addresses are gathered, along with cookies and other tracking technologies, primarily for improving website usability and remarketing purposes.

Data held primarily consists of email correspondences and transactional details. Information such as details about your event and requirements are securely stored, usually in my email and in some cases in paper based notes. I do not maintain a customer database or ‘CRM’.
Quickbooks is utilised for accounting purposes, and your details may be held as a payee in my online banking for necessary transactions like returning deposits. Bank account details shared via email or message will be deleted within 48 hours post-utilisation.
For HMRC compliance, specific transaction details must be retained for up to 7 years. This adherence to regulations is crucial even if a data deletion request is made.
Website Usage Data & Remarketing
My website stores data of your visit to Google Analytics 4 and Meta advertising platforms. This generally pertains to website visit details, aiding in website improvement.
For opting out of tracking and remarketing, various tools and settings across platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) are available, as detailed in respective platform guidelines.
4. Sharing of Your Information
Your personal data may be shared with third parties to support the delivery of your order (for example co-ordination with venues or florists) or if we were ever required by law.
I kindly request that if you have images of my product that you share these with me to celebrate your event and to assist with my marketing. If you object to your images being shared please contact [email protected] and we will not use your imagery.
